More troubles for Matt Lauer. The skirt chasing newsman, who reportedly cheated on his wife Annette, may now have more wife troubles. Ex-wife Nancy Alspaugh, with whom he was married from 1982 – 1988 is writing a tell-all book and spilling her secrets. As if this dog doesn’t have enough trouble with everyone knowing how he does his business, there might be even more gossip to set everyone’s fur flying. Says a source, “Nancy’s writing a self-help book- about finding your true calling after going through adversity.” We assume, she should know the topic well. As Nancy told the Enquirer in 2005 when he and Annette were reportedly having problems, “I feel sorry for both of them, but if it’s because of his roving eye, it’s very sad.” She went on to say that women throw themselves at Matt and a lot of men who are in the public eye but Lauer just happened to get caught. It has been said that infidelity was not the reason Nancy and Matt divorced in 1988, but that may be a different story with Matt’s present wife. After rumors of Lauer and Annette’s break up after 12 years together, Annette told People magazine last month, “I have never moved out. I am not moving out, there is no truth to that.” Matt and Annette have three children together- Jack, 8, and Romy, 6 and Thijs, 2. After denying the report to People magazine, Annette recently said, “Out of self respect I want to stand up for our family and protect them.” Too bad Matt didn’t think of doing the same thing just before he decided to fool around. Some reports are that the couple has been living apart ever since the Winter Olympics when Annette accused Lauer of cheating on her. Only time will tell if Lauer and Annette stay together and what further gossip comes out that may or may not bite him on his furry butt. Do you think that once a man cheats he is destined to repeat the pattern? Or can he be trained like any dog to behave himself? Check out the Hollywood Dog-Pound to see what type of dog he is???
