Lie or Truth??

IS YOUR GUY LYING? How can you tell? It seems that relationships now are swimming in lies more than ever before. He lies to you, you lie back and it goes on and on. When does the lying end? In fact, in a recent survey from 20th Century Fox to mark their DVD launch of the TV series “Lie To Me” they discovered that men tell twice as many lies as women. The reasons given for their lies were; to protect his ego, to take the easy way out, to stay out of trouble with his wife or girlfriend. If you want to tell if your dog is lying to you, here is a way you can be your own polygraph detector and tell if the truth or a lie is about to slip from his doggie lips: 1. The next time you two have a normal conversation, watch his body language. If you think he has just told you a lie, is his body language different? Is he fiddling with his keys, tapping his fingers, crossing his arms in front of his chest in a protective gesture or displaying other nervous behavior? 2. If you two are speaking is he avoiding eye contact with you? 3. If you ask him a question, does he respond with a defensive tone such as “Why do you want to know?” Or, “Don’t you trust me?” Does he clear his throat several times or does his voice level change? 4. If you ask him a question does he stall for time like he’s trying to make up an answer in his head? 5. If you ask him a question does he offer excuses not to answer or excuses for the situation? 6. If you ask him a question, instead of giving you a short and to the point answer, does he end up telling you a whole story of what happened? So the next time you think he may be lying, put it to the test. Then you’ll know whether you need to blow the doggie whistle on him or give his cute little nose a kiss.
