Even though the ex-NBA player has been off the courts for several years, apparently he continues to play ball- just ask his mistress who gave birth to their daughter, Ava Maria Snow, eight pounds, on July 14th in Michigan. Dogs love to play ball… Snow, retired, and who is now a broadcaster, filed for divorce from his wife Deshawn in May in Atlanta. They have been married for 12 years. He is seeking joint custody of their three sons. Deshawn is known for her stint on the first season of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta which premiered in the fall of 2008. Ironically, she wasn’t asked back because she didn’t stir up enough drama. (Maybe that phone will ring from the producers any moment now). The baby’s mama, Marisela Alvarado, a former college flame of Eric’s and mutual friend of the couple’s is, needless to say, the reason for the filing of the divorce papers. When it all goes down in the divorce courts, he may have to pay an estimated eight to 15 million dollars to Deshawn and hand over his Atlanta Estate which they shared with their boys. Deshawn, who is reportedly working on a Disney project with the boys, has support from her prayer circle. Even though it will be hard for her, we say, let the dog play ball and chase with the other dogs. Even though a dog has a wife, three sons, an estate, why do you think it all isn’t enough? If you had it all would you risk it for a doggie play date with an ex-flame from college?
