This past Sunday many of today's stars graced the stage at this year's BET awards. What was even more phenomenal was the number of celebrities that have been gone from the scene for a minute and decided that this awards show was best for their coming out show.
As a whole my reviews of the 2010 BET Awards are not too hot, but some individuals showed up...and showed out! Keyshia Cole was one of the first disappointments of the evening. She know darn well she can not sing live so she should of did another song she was comfortable with or...just not sing at all. Just when I was starting to think she was getting a little classy, she came on stage looking a little like "Crazy Minaj." It ain't for everybody! Now now Alicia, you know there are many eyes looking upon you after the whole stunt with Swizz Beats. The whole world was especially looking at her to see what she looked like pregnant and o did she sure show us all. Very pretty lady but that does not mean you can wear a purple dress and pink shoes(or whatever color they were). There isn't really much to say about Diddy because as always he made sure he was the center of attention with "Dirty Money" as his poor little background singers. Moving on, Chris Brown gets one word...DECENT. I do not condone abuse, but maybe the young brother has gotten himself together. Regardless, he definitely made his respect to the late MJ with his phenomenal tribute! Great to say that John Legend won the Humanitarian Award for his his "Show Me" campaign that fights for education reform in the US and also helps to break the cycle of poverty, clean water, education, and health care in Africa. J.Cole is definitely someone to look out for in the near future. Prince did not look too thrilled with Trey Songz after his clever idea turned horribly wrong. Lol. Prince was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement award which was long overdue and well deserved. And to end the night out a good performance by Ludacris, Tommy Lee, Dj Khaled, Nicki Minaj, Busta Rhymes, and of course...Diddy.
