Alicia loves Beatz!!!

Alicia Keys pregnant! Well, not that it was any real surprise, as rumors have been swirling around a possible pregnancy for quite awhile. But, finally singer Alicia Keys and music producer Swizz Beatz, a few days ago officially announced some big plans. First, that they are going to marry, and secondly that they are going to have a child together. It’s expected they will wed by the end of this year. Even though the couple have been dating since 2008, during part of that time Beatz was still married to his wife, Mashonda who gave birth to their son Kasseem Dean Jr. in January 2007. As early as 2008 it was suspected the two were an item, although they never appeared together anywhere, nor were any pics shown to the public of the pairing. Then in 2009, when Beatz added a verse to Drake’s hit, “Best I Ever Had” that sounded a lot like he was talking about Keys it was more or less out of the bag. This resulted in Mashonda writing an open letter to Alicia Keys addressing the affair and the pain it was causing her. She also said she didn’t harbor any hard feelings toward Keys and that it was not her fault. In 2009 Keys and Beatz were spotted together more and more at his pre-Grammy Awards event, game three of the World Series and at a Witney Houston album event. The latest rumors came about this year when Keys was spotted wearing a lot of loose fitting clothes. The baby will be her first, his third. He has two other children from previous relationships. Is Swiss Beatz a dog that gets around? Even though the couple seems happy, and Mashonda doesn’t blame Keys, a separation and divorce are still painful for everyone involved especially the kids.
